I love this quote from Winnie the Pooh, because I want everyone to know that there is never a day that I don't think about the people who have blessed my life. I know that there are many people struggling today, especially in this down economy. But, we must never forget that we are stronger than we think and smarter than we believe because God has given us the resources - our minds and our souls - to think independently for ourselves. The moment that we stop believing in ourselves is the moment that we have become defeated.
For those lives whom I have helped here in Oregon, I am thankful that I could have helped their lives while blessing my life in return. We must never forget our lives are a precious gift of God that should never be wasted. It should be used to bless those around us, and it is a gift to help mankind. It has made me wonder what the "kind" in mankind meant, and it dawned on me that it sounds like man is supposed to be kind to another; and love one another.
However, it seems we have lost that thought process because we have lost hope. Remember to never lose hope, and learn to live life to the fullest. Take a risk, and take a chance because a person will never know what they can discover until they search the horizons. As you search the horizons, I promise that the greener pastures will come if you have faith.
